TY-P860 polyamide wax micropowder is a 100% active, powder polyamide wax thixotropic agent specially designed for solvent-based and solvent-free, high-solids coating systems and inks, adhesives, sealants, greases, etc. This product could be dispersed with heat generated during grinding and establish the thixotropic viscosity, control the sag and prevent sedimentation.

Applications

Method

The activation time required in the coating system is about 20-30 minute. The typical activation temperature is between 40 and 70 ¡ãC. Dispersing equipment such as sand mills facilitate the activation of the product. When it is difficult to achieve a temperature in the suggested range, 1-2% isopropanol can be added to reduce the activation temperature of TY-P860.
