TY-PA60 is a polyamide based rheology additives for waterborne system. TY-PA60 forms a network structure with paint components in a coating system, prevents sagging and pigment settling. Different from traditional waterborne thickening agents, TY-PA60 has strong pseudoplasiticy.

Applications

TY-PA60 can be used in a wide range of waterborne coating systems.

Incorporation

1. Use TY-PA60 and water in a ratio of (1:4) to make a pre-gel. Post-addition by a dissolver is recommended.

2. Dispersing temperature is recommended between room temperature and 40¡æ. The Dispersing speed is 1500-2000 RPM, and the time is 15-20 min.

3. TY-PA60 will have better performance if the system pH value is greater than 8.

4. Additive level is 1.0-3.0 weight% as product on total formulation.

Storage

1. Keep from freezing. Freezing causes degradation of quality and performance.

2. Do not heat. Store below 40¡æ. Heating causes degradation of quality and performance.
